Intriguing, hand cut and polished teardrop shaped Dendritic Marble cabochon pendant set in sterling silver with a signed, closed back from Arizona, U.S.A. Dendritic refers to the plantlike inclusions of other minerals, most often Iron or Manganese oxides or Chlorite. With regards to this specific pendant, the mineral would be Manganese oxide, as the inclusions are black. The colours, in the close-up picture of the pendant, appear lighter than they actually are.
